This Wednesday on Women’s International Day, Shohini and Natalie visited Artworks in Mill Hill Trenton to support the Women’s Day event. This event was held to celebrate single mothers. There was a room full of clothing, toys and housing appliances available for single mothers to take home. Additionally, community organisations such as Isles, Children’s Future, Mercer County Weatherization Assistance Program and the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund were there to offer advice and resources to the women. This event was not only an amazing initiative but was also a great opportunity for HomeWorks to connect and interact with the Trenton women’s community!
